The day is over. It's time to eat a meal that I can take the time to cook and savour. Of course, it doesn't mean you can't have all the snacks you want or eat the biggest dinner portion you've ever had. It just mean you can take your time, which is something very important in life. Eating healthy isn't supposed to be a burden, but rather something you're proud of at the end of every single day: to have taken care of yourself through something amazing, food!!!
I have to admit that when I come back from a long day at school or work, I am not always super motivated to cook something fancy. I still want to eat something delicious though. I am gonna give you a few quick ideas you can cook to end your day on a good note.
This 5 ingredients recipe takes 15 minutes to make and is absolutely delicious. You need a small tilapia filet( the frozen ones are less expensive), corn (frozen is less expensive), 1 red onion, 1 tomato and some taco shells. Preheat your oven to 450 F, put all the veggies and fish on a pan, and cook in the oven for ten minute (don't forget the salt and pepper). When done, break the fish into pieces and serve in a taco shell. You can top it with sour creme, lime juice and a bit of hot sauce. Enjoy!
The nice thing about sushi is that you can put whatever you want in it and it'll still be good. To make sushi you need rice (the type you want), sea weed, a protein (tofu, shrimp, fish, chicken) and your favorite veggies. For sea weed, make sure to buy the big ones, or you'll end up with tiny sushi rolls. You can eat them with soy sauce to make them tastier. Fun fact: sushi are healthy, what makes them unhealthy is when the protein is fried and it contains mayo. Have fun!
